29 October 2010 ICFO & Corning Team up


Ultra thin metal film technology for tactile displays. ICFO signs a sponsored research agreement with Corning Incorporated to exploit the opportunities that ICFO’s ultra thin metal film technology can bring to Corning’s advanced glasses for tactile displays.

The project will be developed at ICFO by the group led by ICREA Prof. Valerio Pruneri. Prof. Pruneri leads at ICFO the Optoelectronics research group, focused on applied research topics and involved in about ten industrial projects in areas including optical telecommunication, sensing, aerospace, energy efficiency and quantum cryptography.
